Day 1: Livingstone, Zambia
Welcome to Zambia. You are welcomed to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport, formerly Livingstone Airport, and assisted with your luggage before being transferred by road to Sindabezi Lodge for your three-night stay. An idyllic, exclusive camp on its own private isle on the Zambezi River is the perfect beginning to a honeymoon adventure. It is the only luxury bush camp from where Victoria Falls can comfortably be explored. With only five open-sided thatched chalets on the entire island, guests to soak up the sights and sounds of a pristine African bush setting. Views across the flood plains of the Zambezi and into the nearby national park complete the experience. The honeymoon chalet is situated on a secluded sandy shore at the end of the island. Days 2 & 3: Livingstone
Livingstone is home to the world-renowned Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural world wonders. Its proximity to the Zambezi River and the spectacular falls has made Livingstone a base for exploring the stunning beauty and wildlife of the area. The lodge offers a range of complementary activities. In keeping with our famed individual approach to hospitality, there is no set itinerary, so you are free to enjoy excursions that fit your schedule. Canoeing on the Zambezi River lets you see the wonder of the river from a different perspective. Savor dinner under the stars on a sampan, where each course canoed out by your valet. Set out on sunrise and sunset boat trips to experience the river’s varied personalities; and explore the Zambezi by power boat complete with sundowners and snacks. Day 4: Livingstone / Kafue National Park
Today you travel back to Livingstone Airport where you fly to Lusaka Airport and then on to Busanga airstrip, which takes about an hour and a half. From the airstrip, you transfer by road to your camp on a beautiful island in the heart of the Busanga Plains. It overlooks the massive floodplains and dambos, a system of shallow and complex wetlands, that teem with wildlife and birds. In the heart of the magical Busanga Flood Plains in the North of the Kafue National Park, you stay in one of four truly unique Birds Nests.  “The Nest” derives its name from its remarkable, oval architecture built above ground in the shape of bird nests to perfectly blend in with nature. Overlooking the plains, each nest offers complete privacy and remarkable views of the plains, both from the inside and from your observation deck. All nests have in/outside showers. These luxury safari tents, two twin and two double, have en-suite open air bathrooms and flushing toilets. Each overlooks the Busanga Plains and are airy with electricity and plenty of space with large beds draped with mosquito nets. Experience the total peace of nature from the privacy of your veranda. Enjoy the glow of the outside lantern lights on canvas walls and drift off to sleep to the sounds of the African night. The Boma overlooks the plains and has a plunge pool to cool down and relax, during the hottest months. As the floodplains are mostly inaccessible during the summer, when the rains turn the plains into a massive lake, Busanga is a seasonal destination, ideal for a June to November honeymoon. The camp’s remoteness and the remarkable sunrises when the mist rises of the drying floodplains enhance the magical beauty and truly unique experience of this hidden gem. Watch an abundance of antelopes, birds and predators, and see elephants gently walking past through the early morning mist. Delight in the lechwe jumping the Busanga streams. Days 5 & 6: Kafue National Park
Over the next two days, you can set out on game drives and walking safaris in search of a wide variety of species is found on the plains including lion, cheetah, African buffalo, hippopotamus, oribi, roan, lechwe, zebra and blue wildebeest. Large numbers of elephants and some 500 bird species have been spotted here. The camp features an electric game drive vehicle so you can enjoy silent safaris, allowing you to encounter even more game as you savor the sounds of the bush, without the constant rumble of a diesel-engine. Day 7: Kafue National Park / Mfuwe / South Luangwa
Transfer by road to the airstrip for the flight to Lusaka International Airport and then on to Mfuwe Airport. You are met and transferred by road to your camp in the heart of the Lupanda Game Management Area on the banks of the Luangwa River. It is ideally located to explore both the park and the Nsefu sector, which has long been recognized for outstanding game viewing. The small intimate property consists of five uniquely styled luxury safari tents (five doubles, of which two can convert into family tents). All overlook the Luangwa river. Days 8 & 9: South Luangwa
Explore this rich and vibrant area that spreads across some 9,050 sq km/3,490 sq mi. The Luangwa River runs through it and supports wildlife around the lagoons considered to be are among the highest concentration in the world. With more than 60 animal species and some 400 varieties of birds, the park is a photographer’s and birdwatcher’s dream. Luangwa offers incredible landscapes with diverse vegetation, including incredible trees, plants and exotic flowers. The most common trees found in the park include mopane, winterthorne, leadwood, ivory palm, marula, baobab and magnificent tamarind trees. Shawa Luangwa Camp (B,L,D)    

Day 10: South Luangwa / Mfuwe / Lilongwe, Malawi / Likoma / Kaya Mawa
Travel by road to Mfuwe Airport for your light aircraft flight to Lilongwe International Airport for a one-hour flight to Likoma Aerodrome. You are welcomed and transferred by road a short distance to your lodge. Situated on Likoma island in the middle of Lake Malawi, set in the warm heart of Africa. Kaya Mawa, meaning Maybe Tomorrow. It offers the ultimate beach destination in Africa as well as a restful escape after your safari adventure.  The island features pristine white sandy beaches, lush vegetation, baobab tree forests and mango trees. Days 11 & 12: Kaya Mawa
Enjoy these days at leisure to do as much or as little as you choose. Kaya Mawa partners with Likoma Island Divers, a recognized PADI resort with two in-house dive instructors. Likoma Island, surrounded by the pristine waters of Lake Malawi, is noted for great diving opportunities on the Lake, both in terms of the diversity and abundance of fish species. Other activities include taking to the water in kayaks and paddle boards. Kaya Mawa has the only kite surfing center on the lake and sports all new Cabrinha equipment for rent for experienced boarders. Or take a walk to see where the road takes you – to the cathedral, the market, the textiles workshop or one of the many community projects. Kaya Mawa has Laser sail boats for its guests. Day 13: Kaya Mawa / Likoma / Lilongwe / Depart
Travel back to Likoma Aerodrome to board your flight to Lilongwe International Airport. On arrival in Lilongwe, you connect your international flight to your onward destination.
